Easy Peasy is based on UNR (though an older version, or it was when I checked a couple weeks ago), speciffically for the Eee netbooks.

My advice is to give a couple a try until you find one you’re comfortable with. I ended up with UNR purely because it seemed to give my netbook the best battery life.

I think I’m leaning towards UNBRemixed too, although has this just changed name to easypeasy or similar?

Until Apple pull their finger out and give me a 10″ MacBook Nano, the S101 netbook works pretty well, but using XP is a depressing experience

As Dave has said, Linux particularly lends itself to netbooks. I’m currently running Ubuntu Netbook Remix on my Samsung N110 but really any distribution you want to try should run well. If you’ve never used Linux before however I thoroughly recommend starting with either Ubuntu (desktop or netbook remix) or Linux Mint, both are very ‘new user friendly’.
