The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented creative website designer/developer to become an integral part of our expanding website and new media team. You will be required to design and implement new websites for a wide variety of clients, design and manage email marketing campaigns and be responsible for monitoring and updating our existing portfolio of client websites.
Flexibility and willingness to work on print based projects would also be advantageous.

About You:

Confidence with all aspects of creative web design is a must – you won’t just be a programmer – you’ll need at least 2 years experience and a portfolio to prove it. Ability to work in PHP, MySQL, HTML and CSS are essential as is as a good knowledge of Joomla and/or Drupal. You must also be fully conversant in Adobe Creative Suite and familiar with working on an Apple Mac. Flexible enough to adapt your skills to meet different clients needs, you must be able to work as part of a team, but also confident enough to bring your own suggestions to the table.

A Web Designer is required to join our small but expanding web design company. Our success is built on providing well built bespoke websites with a consultative relationship driven approach to working with clients. Our clients include SME’s, schools, colleges and larger corporations across the region and nationally.

Working alongside the Creative Director within a team environment you will be responsible for the design and build of new and existing client web sites. Creativity and diversity are key elements to the success of this role in addition to being involved with each step of the process from planning, design, build, QA to ongoing support and SEO.

To be successful you must be a team player with excellent people and communication skills in addition to previous web design and development experience. You will be required to demonstrate this through an in-depth portfolio of web design and development work. Please ensure you submit details of previous work and URLs of sites you’ve designed and built, with your application.

Advanced knowledge of Photoshop, Dreamweaver, HTML and CSS are essential. Experience using PHP, Flash and SEO would be advantageous.

PHP Developer – Engage Now Ltd

We need an experienced PHP Developer to help with the constant improvement and maintenance of our unique remote kiosks. Operating in a Windows environment we are tracking to and reporting from web-based and PC-based databases. These operate through a Flash application. Remote connections are made automatically and manually to ensure 24-hour delivery of the system across the UK.

CSS and Javascript essential
MSSQL and VB6 desirable
experienced with Windows environments essential
